Tribute to Daddy

Let’s say, “Bye ๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿฟโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ‘‹๐Ÿฟ๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿฟโ€โ™‚๏ธ.”

Daddy has gone to be with the Lord, Glory to God for a life well-lived.
Heaven is a revelation of the proclaimed kingdom.
The kingdom of God has tarried for about 2000 so much that its reality is almost thought of as impossible.
Death, however, stands as a witness: if the kingdom does not come through rapture to us, death inevitably raptures us.
If kingdom, we will then be living in the presence of a King.
The affairs there is steered by the will of One, whose authority compels all His subjectโ€™s obedience.
An opportunity for an appointment or attending an occasion with a king enlists our best appearance and comportment.
Indeed, death is our appointment with the King of kings.
There is a stipulated attire (Aso-Ebi) in which we must appear: the garment purified by the blood of the Lamb (Revelation 22:14).
There is also a mandated mannerism in heaven: the character of Jesus.
Does your character fit the presence of this King?
Are your garments pure enough to withstand the King of kingโ€™s presence?

As for an unbefitting character, it is unlikely that you attend the Kings function, albeit it has been Godโ€™s intention eternity-long. Consequently, we were given Jesus in the flesh (a man like us endued with the power of the Holy Spirit) as a Savior. He came to save us from our sins, and by so doing, sets Himself as an example that we can copy.

When we are born again, like a newborn get new items of clothing, so we receive the robe of righteousness. This princely robe displays our nobility to the world. It tells the world we are in a distinctive spiritual kingdom and no longer under its management. Do you have this garment? Better still, are you born again or sunken in the mire of sin? Are you wearing the ragged-out, beggarly garment of sin? Such clothes are unfit for the presence of God. Or had you the garment once and are now stained by drunkenness, sexual immorality, lies, stealing, name it? You may yet have a new garment or have a stained one cleansed while death has not affected your appointment with this King. Only shut in wherever you are and ask Him. Beautifully He is everywhere He is invited.

Aside: a thief right now will be a thief there. One whose sin cannot make Him dare approach the presence of God now will not endure the presence of the King in heaven. If you are stealing now (robbing Good of our time and hearts), there will be too much to steal in heaven. Hence you will not fit. Only if you ask the Father to, in complete repentance and surrender, come into your heart! Then, you will find a life, so new and a view so great of God had in eternity past planned for our present and future.

Have you the garment as a new or existent Christian? How is it with your character? Is your character befitting the presence of a king? Everyone that appears before a king is, in the least, communicating the state of welfare of the kingdom to Him. Joseph had to change his garment to appear before appearing before king Pharaoh. David falsely reminded King Achish that his kingdom had a handful of madmen (1 Samuel 21:12-15). John the Baptist would not be counted worthy of appearance before appearance because he would not wear soft or โ€œbeautifulโ€ clothes that flattered the king about Jerusalemโ€™s welfare. Jesus is the way of life of heaven. The more your character mature into His, the more mature shall be your stature when He shall appear. For when He appears, we shall be as He is. Have you once contemplated the goal of Christianity? It is to mature us into the image of Christ Jesus. Any other thing Christianity does to you that impeded this falls you short of the objective. You may as well misuse a powerful instrument.

This explains why a man with a stained garment will not endure the presence of God. For one sinner to survive Godโ€™s presence, it means almost all the citizens are likewise stained. However, God will not compromise His stand. He loves the world, but His love must be accepted. And those who take His love are those who possess eternal life by believing in the Son. Where do you stand?
